Paper accepted by Advanced Materials Sarah Chi's paper on conjugated polymer films for optical signal processing and their use in all-optical image recognition has been accepted for publication Advanced Materials. The paper will be featured in the Advances in Advance section. This work was a collaboration with the Kippelen and Marder groups at Georgia Tech.
New Research Program Funding The DARPA MORPH project at Georgia Tech, directed by Prof. Perry, has been approved for Phase III funding of ~ $2,300,000. This project aims to develop advanced molecular photonic materials for sensor protection. Profs. Marder, Bredas, Kippelen, and Bunz are participants from Georgia Tech and the Univ. of Central Florida, Penn State, Univ. of Florida, Univ. of Michigan, and Lockheed Martin (MFC) are partnering institutions.
News and Views Article in Nature Prof. Perry wrote a News and Views Article for Nature (451, 636 (2008)) on advances in Updatable 3D Displays made by Nasser Peyghanmarian's group at the Univ. of Arizona.
